Seven Sisters Sheep Centre
Feed the lambs, get up close to the animals and enjoy a tractor trailer ride. You can also discover the agricultural heritage and the history of sheep on the Downs, before popping into the Hayrack Tea Room for a traditional Sussex Cream Tea.
Watch lambs being born, sheep being shorn and milked, and then see their milk turned into cheese. There are also plenty of young farm animals to feed and cuddle, including pigs, goats, rabbits and chicks. The protection of our 17th Century flint barn means we’re an all-weather destination.
Lambing season is 5 March to 2 May.
Milking and shearing can be observed 2 July to 4 September.
Night lambing* – experience a taste of shepherd life, 10pm to midnight, every night of the lambing season.
Shepherd’s breakfast* – start the day like a shepherd. After breakfast join the morning team as they prepare for a day’s work.
*£25 per person. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum of 2 people per experience. Both include behind-the-scenes access to the Sheep Centre, as well as bottle-feeding the lambs.
