The cottages, originally 18th century listed farm buildings have been given 4 stars by Quality in Tourism and have achieved a Gold Award as part of the Green Tourism Buisiness scheme, for quality and the efforts we make towards the local environment.
All the cottages are fully equipped including linen and towels.

Provisions
A small welcome pack is included in the price for when you arrive. In addition we can organise a variety of meals to be delivered to your fridge in time for your arrival. A menu is provided and you can pre-order by visiting www.kudosfoods.co.uk
We can also provide beer from the brewery or lamb and beef from the farm,
The cottages are in the heart of the village close to the village green, which has a restaurant. tea room which serve good food and the Tiger Inn, . There are lots of things to do locally including the beach at Birling Gap, long walks, great cycling, playground with slide and swings, tennis, line dancing, keep fit, bowls. Rather than keys we have electronic door release systems which require a code. Your code will be provided to you when you pay the final payment

Linen is provided on changeover days if you are staying for more than a week

Pets
well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee of £10 per dog to pay for additional cleaning at the end of your stay. A dog walking area is provided close to the cottages.

Telephone
There is currently no telephone in Giddy Cottage but there are pay phones in Beachy Barn and Chestnut Lodge. Mobiles are unreliable and if your service provider lets you down, there is a phone box just a short distance away
Village Shops
As well as the Tea Room, Tiger Inn, Grimaldi Restaurant, East Dean boasts a butcher; a village store for fresh bread and vegetables, a post office, newsagent, doctor's and vet's, plus a weekly farmers' market, there is also the Frith & Little Deli on the village Green. All these are within a 5-minute walk from the cottages. The nearest supermarket is Waitrose which is in Old Town Eastbourne.
