Beachy Head Marathon: race report

As if running 26 miles isn’t hard enough, 1700 brave runners and walkers entered this year’s Beachy Head Marathon and tackled the winding off-road course, which includes 14 gates and 300 steps!
Local resident Susie Casebourne was the first female finisher – in just 3 hours 37 minutes. And Steve Nimmo was the first to finish overall in just 3 hours 2 minutes and 28 seconds.
The Beachy Head Marathon is one the UK’s biggest off-road marathons, and with its undulating course around the Seven Sisters is definitely one of its toughest.
