Julian Rabuszko (right seated) from East Dean receives his prize from Roger Green of the Beachy Head Brewery (left standing) for winning a competition to name the new Beachy Head Beer. A prize of a box of mixed Beachy Head ales was awarded to Julian on Saturday 20 April 2013 at The Tiger Inn in East Dean. The winning name for the new ale “Lighthouse Ale” was picked from over 130 entries. The beer is a 3.5% light Summer ale which will be on sale at The Tiger and selected outlets from the middle of May.
