New National Trust Café and Shop at Birling Gap

The new National Trust café, shop and information centre at Birling Gap are now open for business. The café offers a comfy seating area, delicious food and beautiful views of the sea, plus an ice-cream parlour serving local Sussex ice-cream. In the shop visitors can find locally sourced items and seaside goods, together with traditional National Trust favourites.

There are a number of events coming up including the Rockpool Ramble on 15 September at 12.30pm (child £3), the Bramble-berry Ramble on 21 September at 10.00am(£4), the Big Beachwatch at Birling Gap on 23 September at 10.00am and the Autumn Amble on 13 October at 11.00am (£7.50 including a light lunch in the café).

Birling Gap is a great place to achieve some of the National Trust’s “50 Things To Do Before You’re 11 ¾”, such as checking out the creatures in a rock pool, flying a kite, hunting for fossils, catching a crab, stargazing, swimming in the sea and much more.
