The walking and cycling around Beachyhead are regarded as some of the best in England and our Location Map shows a variety of walks and cycle routes, as well as free car parking spaces.

Cyclist can enjoy a variety of cycle routes over a weekend from challenging mountain cycle routes here are some through Friston Forest or leisurely jaunts down to Birling Gap, the Cuckmere Valley, or Cuckoo Trail.  You can also hire bikes locally.  Other Bike routes include,

Whether you are walking the South Downs way or taking a short circular walk, please enjoy the map and wonderful routes on offer.  Rather than repeat the countryside code, we ask that you take only photographs and leave only footprints.

To help you get from A-B and back to A.  There is a regular bus service run by the Brighton Bus Company between Eastbourne and Brighton which stops at East Dean, the number 12 alternatively the 12A stops at East Dean, Birling Gap, Belle Tout and Beachy Head over the summer and the 12C follows the same route on Sunday mornings.  For more accurate details please use the following link  http://www.buses.co.uk/
