The world-famous Glyndebourne Festival starts on the 17th of May and runs until the 24th of August 2014, with performances of the following operas: Der Rosenkavalier by Richard Strauss; Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin; Mozart’s Don Giovanni; La finta giardiniera also by Mozart; Verdi’s La Traviata; and Handel’s Rinaldo.
There will also be history talks to celebrate 80 years of Glyndebourne, plus study days and recitals.
